So far Azerbaijan evacuates 4,375 nationals from Ukraine

The evacuation of Azerbaijani citizens from Ukraine through the territory of neighboring countries is continuing. As of March 8, 2022, 4,375 people have been delivered to Azerbaijan.

As Report found out from the Foreign Ministry, 2,298 people were evacuated by charter flights, and 2,077 people by land.

"To date, the Azerbaijani government has organized 12 charter flights from the territory of Romania and Poland, most of them from the Romanian city of Iasi. The evacuation of citizens continues both by charter flights and by buses through the territory of neighboring countries," the press service of the Foreign Ministry noted.
