Ambassador of Kazakhstan familiarized with Baku International Port

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, Serzhan Abdykarimov visited the Baku International Sea Trade Port, located in the village of Alat, Report informs citing the message from the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan.

During the visit, the head of the Department for International Cooperation and Public Relations Zaur Hasanov informed the diplomat about the current activities, the principles of the Baku port and ongoing projects in the field of improving operational capabilities and the environment.

The parties also discussed the efforts of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan to develop transit and transport potential, issues of interaction between the sea ports of the two countries in order to increase freight traffic and transit capabilities of the two countries.

 Abdykarimov also got acquainted with the infrastructure created in the port.
