Ambassador: Number of applicants for studying in Hungary increased by more than 10 times in Azerbaijan

Baku. 5 May. REPORT.AZ/ In 2016 about 580 Azerbaijanis have applied for education in Hungary at the expense of the Government.

Report informs, Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Imre Laslotski said.

The ambassador recalled that a little more than 50 people filed application last year: "Admission of students from Azerbaijan in the framework of the training program for 200 students in Hungary has been very successful. I am very happy about it".

The diplomat also said that the program provided up to 2017, but it could be extended: "This is a very good program. Given the specialties by Hungarian government, we can say that in this way, we also help in the development of Azerbaijan's non-oil sector. We have a very strong agriculture. I would recommend to study at agricultural universities in Hungary."
