Ambassador: 'Kazakhstan always supports fair position of Azerbaijan'

Kazakhstan always supports the fair position of Azerbaijan, Kazakh Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Serzhan Abdikarimov, told journalists at a press conference, Report informs.

According to the envoy, Azerbaijan is at a very important stage of its activities related to foreign policy as negotiations on the preparation of a peace treaty with neighboring Armenia are underway: "Today, Azerbaijan is passing through an important stage. It’s about preparations for the conclusion of a peace treaty. We are following this process."

Abdikarimov said that Kazakhstan intends to expand cooperation with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan: "The opening of the Zangazur corridor will help and speed up this process."
