Report informs, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Giampaolo Cutillo said in an interview with Italian channel ANSA.

According to him, between the two countries are launched an active dialogue in all spheres of bilateral cooperation, were signed contracts in all spheres: "Most of all, we are working in the energy sector. Especially, Trans-Adriatic gas pipeline project (TAP) is important for us, which will deliver gas from the Caspian Sea to the Italian region of Apulia. Moreover, from Italy come numerous delegations of businessmen to Azerbaijan."

Ambassador also noted the importance of the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Rome and Milan, during which he visited the exhibition EXPO-2015, and also held important meetings with officials of the country.
