Ambassador: Afghanistan grateful to Azerbaijan for partnership and support

Baku. 27 November.REPORT.AZ/ “Afghanistan is grateful to Azerbaijan for hosting the conference 'Heart of Asia - Istanbul Process in Baku'.

Report informs, Afghan ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Tagi Khalili told a press conference. 

The Seventh Ministerial Conference of 'Heart of Asia - Istanbul Process in Baku will be held on December 1. The main theme of the ministerial meeting will be “Security and economic connections in the region of Heart of Asia.

“We are grateful to Azerbaijan for hosting the event. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani will participate in the opening ceremony. We also thank Azerbaijan for partnership and its strong support to Afghanistan,” said ambassador.

Azerbaijan and Afghanistan are currently co-chairing the process.
