Baku hosts 36th session of ISESCO Executive Council

Baku. 23 November. REPORT.AZ/ 36th session of ISESCO (Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) Executive Council launched in Baku.

Report informs, high-level representatives of international organizations and foreign countries, culture and tourism ministers, diplomats attend the event.

The event started with recitation of verses from Quran.

Executive Council holds annual meeting consisting of representatives of 52 member states, including Asia, Africa and Arab regions.

Progress report, financial report of Director General on development of organization's program and activity will be considered in the meeting, financial contributions of member states to the ISESCO's budget will be assessed.

ISESCO XII General Conference is to held on November 26-27. General Conference, supreme decision-making body of the organization holds each three year.
