Sumgayit FC renews contract with one player and breaks with another

Baku. 4 June. REPORT.AZ/ Sumgayit club has extended contract with one more player.

Report was told in the club, defender Rail Malikov will play within Sumgayit in the 2018/2019 season. Melikov who plays in team since 2016 will stay for another season. 32-year-old defender played in the squad of Sumgait 1784 minutes in 22 matches.

New contract with goalkeeper Mahdi Jannatov will be signed soon. The contract with midfielder Kamal Mirzayev has not been extended.

Notably, during the summer break Sumgayit extended the contract with defenders Vurgun Huseynov and Bakhtiyar Hasanalizade, as well as midfielder Javid Taghiyev. Instead, striker Amil Yunanov left the club and Farhad Valiyev finished his career.
