Report informs, Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov, who has been selected as member of AFFA Executive Committee, told reporters Friday.

'Therafter I will try to carry out both duties. In recent years, football is developing in Azerbaijan as well as 'Karabakh' and 'Gabala' qualified for the European League. At present, 'Zira' also plays well, but experience is important to participate in European tournaments. This summer we will see how Azerbaijani clubs participate in the Champions League', Mammadyarov said.

E.Mammadyarov said it is still early to speak of plans: 'I can talk about it after being in the process.'

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister has proposed to raise football reputation a bit.
