Karabakh Revival Fund, AFFA ink memo

The ceremony of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) and the Karabakh Revival Fund (KRF) has been held at the Baku Olympic Stadium, Report informs.

The memorandum was signed by AFFA Executive Vice President Elkhan Mammadov and KRF Board Chairman Rahman Hajiyev.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding, AFFA will donate 10 percent of the proceeds from ticket sales for all home matches of the Azerbaijani national team to the KRF within the qualifying stage of the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

In line with the memorandum, KRF’s initiatives will be supported as part of other professional and amateur football tournaments held with the support of AFFA. The Karabakh Revival Fund, in turn, will represent AFFA as a partner during the events.
