Bakuş 4 Octoberş REPORT.AZ/ The book by Italian writer Emmanuele Culianelli 'Qarabag, the team without a city conquering Europe' has been presented in Baku.

Report informs that at the presentation of the book about Qarabag FC, the author spoke about the history of the idea. He noted that the results shown by Agdam representative team in the European cups inspired him to write this book: "I was attracted by the fact that this team achieves such results being deprived of their native land, native city. I decided to write this book after watching Qarabag's matches with Norway's Dusseldorf in 2009 and the visit to Armenia. After watching the match with Chelsea in the Champions League last year I met Gurban Gurbanov. He provided me with extensive information. Few people in Europe and Italy knew about Qarabag at that time. But the club's resistance to Rome FC in the Champions League matches made the team recognizable and the book was greeted positively in Italy. Some people contacted me and said writing the book was a great idea. I am not so much interested in the revenues from selling the book. I am rather interested in providing information about this cruelty to show that Qarabag has made such achievements."

The Italian writer said that the book was written in 9 months: "My Dutch novelist friend presented me his book, and we wrote this book benefiting from those resources. I started writing the book last October and finished it in 9 months. I can also write other books about Qarabag and about Azerbaijan’s participation in the Nations League."

Emmanuele Culianelli said the book costs 15-16 euros. The write stressed that he published this book without any sponsor support. "I have prepared this book for my own money. AFFA was very glad for this book. We are currently negotiating for the Russian and Azerbaijani translation of the book. The book has the edition of 2,000-3,000 copies for present. "

Notably, earlier Emmanuele Culianelli published articles about Qarabag in Eurasianet, FIFA’s official magazine and Corriere della Sera.
