    French embassy not issued a visa to Azerbaijani football player

    Zira failed to take Viktor Igbekoye to Luxembourg

    Baku. 5 July. REPORT.AZ/ Zira FC player Viktor Igbekoye will not help his team during the away match with Luxembourg FC Differdange at Europa League first qualifying round.

    Report informs citing press service of the club, 31-year-old Nigerian player was unable to travel to Luxembourg because of visa problems. However, the footballer appealed to the French embassy for visa, it was stated that the process for Nigerian citizens will take longer time.

    Failing to travel with the team on July 3 for the same reason, Cameroonian Joseph Boum and Haitian Kervens Belfort have already left Baku. Both international players will join the team today.

    Notably, Differdange - Zira match to be held on July 6, will start at 21:00 Baku time. In the first - home match, the Azerbaijani club defeated his rival with 2 unanswered goals.
