FIFA agrees to hold minute of silence in all tournaments

Baku. 2 December. REPORT.AZ/ In honor of the players of Brazilian Chapecoense team who died earlier this week in ariplane crash in Colombia, a moment of silence will be held at every match this weekend, FIFA announced, Report informs.

According to decision, all players will wear black armbands.

Notably, this week only the games of national cup will be played in Azerbaijan. ‘Inter’ Baku will commemorate its former player Filipe José Machado who died in this incident. According to agreement with Professional Football League, minute of silence will be held before game with ‘Karadag Lokbatan’.

Notably, 76 of 81 persons on board died in the incident. 22 of died people were players of Chapecoense club. Former player of ‘Khazar Lenkaran’ Willian Thiego de Jesus also was among died players, beside Filipe José Machado.
