Elkhan Mammadov: Gurban Gurbanov more deserves 'Best manager of 2016' award

Baku. 8 December. REPORT.AZ/ “Gurban Gurbanov deserves award of best manager of 2016 more than others”.

Report informs, AFFA Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov said. He compared head coaches of ‘Karabakh’ and Azerbaijani national team. According to him, if R.Prosinechki is halfway through his mission, G.Gurbanov arrived to the end.

AFFA official told that Azerbaijani teams started to perform stably: “It is encouraging today that Azerbaijani teams get stable results in positive sense. ‘Karabakh’ and ‘Gabala’ clubs play at group stage, national team shows good results in qualification stage, national futsal team for the first time advanced to 1/4 final in world championship. The biggest dream now is the ‘Karabakh’ to qualify for 1/16 final of Europa League”.
