Chelsea FC player to miss match with Azerbaijan

Croatian footballer Mateo Kovačić will not take part in the EURO 2020 qualifying match with Azerbaijan on September 9.

Report informs referring to the press service of the Croatia Football Federation that player of the Chelsea club has been removed from the squad due to the injuries. He is replaced with Mijo Caktaš from the local Hajduk.

Earlier it was revealed that Ivan Rakitić will not participate in the match with the Azerbaijani team. Croatia will play against Slovakia on 6 September and Azerbaijan national team on 9 September.
