Azerbaijani President issues order on EURO-2020 

President Ilham Aliyev issued an order on several measures for holding four matches of the European Championship (one quarter-final and three group matches) in Baku in 2021.

Upon the order, a foreigner or a stateless person, who visited Baku for the matches and submit at least one of the following documents, can obtain a visa from May 1 till July 5, 2021

No work permit is required for foreigners and stateless persons, who were involved in the labor activity and accredited in Azerbaijan.

One of the following documents is considered as a ground for granting a visa:

- Official invitation letter from the Organizing Committee to hold the games in Baku or from the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA);

- Accreditation card or another document of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA);

- Ticket or a document confirming the receipt of a ticket to the game for citizens of the countries of the football teams and stateless persons permanently residing in those countries
