Azerbaijan to be represented by large delegation at Euro 2020 draw

Baku. 30 November. REPORT.AZ/ The European Championship qualifying round draw will take place on December 2 at the convention center in Dublin, Ireland.

Report informs citing the official website of the national association that AFFA will be represented by a large delegation at the event. AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev, vice-president Elshad Nasirov, Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov, head coach of the Azerbaijan national team Gurban Gurbanov, Deputy Secretary General Sarkhan Hajiyev, head of AFFA’s Press and Public Relations Service Firuz Abdulla, Chairman of International Relations Department, project coordinator of the Euro-2020 final stage Konul Mehtiyeva and AFFA Infrastructure Director, deputy project coordinator of the final match of Euro 2019 in Baku, Kamran Valiyev will participate in the event to start at 15:00 Baku time.

Notably, four Euro-2020 matches will be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium. Three of them are group matches, while one of the matches will be in the 1/4 final. Members of the AFFA delegation will be participating in various events related to the championship. The seminars will also be held in Dublin for the heads of national associations and spokepersons the day before the draw- on December 1. The events will be attended by Mammadov, Hajiyev and Abdulla.
