AFFA punishes Azerbaijani player insulting rival for ethnicity

Baku. 6 December. REPORT.AZ/ Today's meeting of the Disciplinary Committee of the AFFA (Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan) have adopted decisions on the incidents during the Azerbaijan Cup 1/8 finals.

Report informs, the most severe punishment was on AZAL - Ravan match.

In the 90+1 minute, visiting team player Zahid Guliyev received a red card due to violent conduct and insulted rival for his ethnicity. The Disciplinary Committee banned Guliyev for 7 matches and punished Ravan in the amount of 640 AZN.

Radio information delayed for 17 minutes during Qarabag vs Sabail match in the Azersun Arena. Qarabag FC was issued a warning in this regard. If it is repeated, the club will be punished.

Inter and Gabala were punished 800 AZN each for 4 red cards in match with Garadag Lokbatan, and 5 cautions in match with Zagatala, respectively.
