Zakir Nuriyev: Credit debts of Patriotic War veterans will be written off based on additional applications

Azerbaijani banks will write off the credit debts of veterans of the Patriotic War based on a number of additional applications, Zakir Nuriyev, chairman of the Azerbaijan Banks Association, told journalists, Report informs.
"During the last anti-terrorist measures and before that, the debts of the persons who died in the Patriotic War and their family members have been completely wiped out. At the same time, interest on the loans of our veterans has been suspended. In addition, existing debts will be canceled based on a number of additional applications. In the coming period, Azerbaijan's banking and insurance systems will provide close mutual support for the solution of existing and emerging problems," he said.
