Sharp rise in exchange rate of manat may have negative impacts, says finance minister 

“Against the background of large foreign exchange inflows to Azerbaijan, the exchange rate of the manat may strengthen sharply, which may have a number of negative effects,” Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said at parliament, Report informs.

“The appreciation of the manat can cause problems, especially for our companies engaged in export,” he added.
