Share of foreign investments in Azerbaijan increases

From January through July 2022, foreign enterprises and organizations invested 1.87 billion manats ($1.102 billion) in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

According to the committee, this figure is 27.8% less than in the same period in 2021.

This year, 1.728 billion manats ($1.034 billion) or 93.8% of funds allocated to fixed assets in Azerbaijan came from international organizations and investors from the UK, Switzerland, the US, Japan, Turkiye, Norway, Russia, Iran, India and France.

The share of funds allocated to fixed assets per month is as follows: 45% in January, 38.7% in February, 18.5% in March, 18.1% in April, 21.8% in May, 25.1% in June and 26.7% in July.
