Trump: US, Iran hold consultations

The United States and Iran have established new contacts through intermediaries as part of efforts to resolve the conflict between the two sides, US President Donald Trump told journalists at the White House, Report informs.

"Yes, they have," he said, without providing further details.

Trump added that the United States would prevail in the conflict with Iran "very soon."

The US president said that, as he understood it, they were preparing to achieve victory one way or another and that everything would end quite quickly.

He also stated that gasoline prices would drop sharply after a US victory and that oil prices would return to their pre-war levels.
