Half of loan portfolio of a foreign bank based in Azerbaijan is problematic

Baku. 7 May. REPORT.AZ/ Assets of the branch Bank Melli Iran grew by 10.1% compared to the same period last year and by 1 April 2015 amounted to 84.3 million manats.

Report informs referring to the bank, the volume of cash decreased by 18.3%.As of April 1 credit portfolio of the bank amounted to 10.9 million manats, including 5.7 million manats accounted for consumer loans.

According to the report, on April 1 this year, the share of overdue loans in total loan portfolio amounted to 48.02% or 5.2 million manats. For the same period last year, the share of overdue loans amounted to 47.12%, or 4.2 million manats of the total loan portfolio.

The authorized capital of Bank Melli Iran-Baku in the amount of 51.4 million manats remained unchanged compared to the same period last year.
