As of April 1, 2019, the mortgage lending through the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund exceeded AZN 1.2 billion, Report informs citing the Fund.
"More than 26,000 families got houses through mortgage loans. Of this, more than AZN 380.3 million made up mortgage loans given to persons in concessional categories. Totally, 67.9% of those getting mortgage loans in 2006-2019 (April 1) were youths and young families, 19.5% of loans was given in the regions.
"Through the Fund, AZN 203 million of mortgage loan was given to 3,109 families in 2017, AZN 273 million to 3,960 families in 2018. In January-March 2019, 796 families bought houses through mortgage loan in the amount of AZN 52.4 million.
"Moreover, AZN 5.3 million was allocated to 122 people to purchase concessional houses from the State Housing Agency. As of April 1, 2019, the mortgage loans given for financing of concessional houses of the State Housing Agency amounted to AZN 15.4 million, the Fund said.
