Elman Rustamov: We don’t see a risk of manat’s decline until year-end

Baku. 30 May. REPORT.AZ/ “We don’t see risk of manat’s decline until the year-end”. 

Report informs, Chairman of Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Elman Rustamov said.

According to him, current economic frame allows to tell this. The CBA governor told that plan for restructuring foreign debts of International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) will not affect manat’s rate: “We took into consideration all possible versions in the restructuring plan”.

E. Rustamov told that number of currency auctions will not be reduced: “There isn’t any change in deposit and note portfolio since the beginning of 2017. Actually we haven’t tightened monetary policy this year. In reality, we return earlier reduced nearly AZN 800 mln to economy”.
