Economy of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan grows by 0.6%

In January-August 2024, the gross domestic product (GDP) of 950.25 million manats (nearly $556 million) was produced in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, which is 0.6% more than the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee of Nakhchivan.
The value of GDP per capita in the autonomous republic was 2,025 manats ($1,191) in the first eight months of 2024, 0.1% more year-on-year.
During the reporting period, industrial products worth 335.5 million manats ($197.35 million) were produced in Nakhchivan, 1.9% more year-on-year.
Goods accounted for 89.2% or 299.2 million manats ($176 million) of the total industrial output, and services for 10.8% or 36.3 million manats ($21.35 million).
