Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Georgia surpassed $1.3B in 2024

In 2024, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia exceeded $1.308 billion, a 13.8% decrease year-on-year, Report informs, citing Georgia's National Statistics Office.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan's share in Georgia's total foreign trade turnover was 5.6%.

Last year, the value of Georgia's exports to Azerbaijan dropped by 15.9% compared to the previous year, totaling over $724.5 million (11% of Georgia’s total exports). Meanwhile, the value of Georgia's imports from Azerbaijan fell by 10.9% to almost $583.6 million (3.5% of total imports).

Also, Georgia's total foreign trade turnover increased by 8% to over $23.435 billion in 2024. Exports rose by 7.8% to $6.56 billion, and imports grew by 8.1% to just under $16.875 billion.
