EBRD allocated $1.6B for Eastern Europe and Caucasus in recent year

In this period EBRD did not invest in Azerbaijan

European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) financed more than 100 projects in Eastern Europe and Caucasus in the recent year.

Report informs citing the bank that EBRD spent ;1.6 billion on these projects.

The bank said these investments were made in accordance with the Sustainable Development Code 2030 program and it will continue to provide support to the region.

Although Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, and Armenia were among the countries involved investments from EBRD in the recent year, Azerbaijan was not among them.

Since 1992, EBRD has invested $3.222 billion in 167 projects in Azerbaijan. Currently, the bank’s loan portfolio on 44 projects in Azerbaijan amounts to $1.409 billion.
