The capitalization of the entire global cryptocurrency market has reached a record $2.3 trillion, which exceeded the figure of the most valuable company in the world – Apple, Report informs referring to the CoinMarketCap.

As of 12:52 (GMT+4), over the past 24 hours the capitalization of the cryptocurrency market has grown by 5.2 percent, to $2.3 trillion, with bitcoin accounting for almost 48 percent of the total volume - its capitalization is $1.1 trillion, below its all-time high of $1.2 trillion in mid-April.

At the same time, the capitalization of Apple, the largest company in the world in terms of value, was $2.19 trillion as of the close of trading on April 30.

At the same time, the price of bitcoin is now growing by 4 percent, to $58,800.
