Chairman of 'Demirbank’ Supervisory Board increases his share

Baku. 7 December. REPORT.AZ/ Distribution of ‘Demirbank’ OJSC’s shares changed. Report informs, Chairman of Supervisory Board Rahman Hajiyev raised his share from 19.61% to 19.72%.

Notably, R.Hajiyev’s holds 20 706 161 of total 105 million shares of the bank. In 2014 the bank reported him to own 20 590 500 shares.

The bank hasn’t revealed name of previous owner of shares acquired by R. Hajiyev. But it is known that number of individual shareholders of the bank fell from 858 to 815.

Notably, “Demirbank” was founded in 1989 under name “Azerdemiryolbank” and rebranded in 2009. Bank’s authorized capital is AZN 21 mln. On August 6, shareholders decided at extraordinary general meeting to invest additional AZN 50 mln to make stock capital AZN 71 mln. But later the decision was revised and bank's stock capital up to AZN 150 mln.
