‘A major part of the deposits in Atabank was uninsured. We forced the bank to sign insurance contracts with the depositors. Because we knew that they will assemble in front of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA),’ CBA Chairman Elman Rustamov said in the press conference.
“The uninsured deposits in Atabank have already reduced to a minimum, while their share was 15%,” Rustamov said.
