CBA forming legislative framework for green projects

In terms of financing green projects of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), the main task of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) is to formulate a legislative framework in accordance with its mandate, CBA official Kanan Mammadov said at the conference themed "The Role of Small and Medium Businesses in the Green Economy" held in Baku, Report informs.

“In this regard, we are creating guidelines and making changes to the relevant legislative framework. As the market develops, further improvements are expected to be made based on signals from the sector,” Mammadov said.
