Azerbaijani banks cut staff

Baku. 5 April. REPORT.AZ/ In January-February 2017, Azerbaijani banks cut number of branches by 6, reducing to 563.

Report informs citing the Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).

According to information, number of bank departments increased by 4 and made 135.

During two months, number of ATMs increased by 1 and made 2 462.

During the reporting period, number of bank employees decreased by 285 people and dropped to 16.662. In February 2017, 266 people sacked.
