Azerbaijan posts 27% decline in troubled loans 

As of September 1, 2022, the overdue loans in Azerbaijan stood at 659.7 million manats ($388 million), down 0.4% from the previous month.

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this figure is 8.3% less than early 2022 and 27% - a year earlier.

In the reporting period, the share of troubled loans in the total loan portfolio was 3.4%, while this figure was 4.2% on late 2021 and 5.8% as of September 1, 2021.
