Average monthly salary grows by over 14% in Azerbaijan

As of October 1, 2022, the number of hired workers in the country's economy increased by 28,600 people, or 1.7%, to 1,727,900 people, of which 898,000 are employed in the public sector and 829,900 in the private sector, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.

Compared to a year earlier, the average monthly nominal wage of employees in the country increased by 14.4% to 827.4 manats ($486.47) in January-September 2022.
