AtaBank ends Q1 on profit

As of April 1, 2019, AtaBank’s assets stood at AZN 579.223 million down 6.5% from previous year.

Bank says AZN 380.212 million of assets was loans given to customers. Loan portfolio fell by 8.7% year-on-year.

Liabilities dropped by 7.7% to AZN 435.893 million, deposit portfolio slipped 8.1% to AZN 302.326 million, total capital went down 2.6% to AZN 143.33 million.

Incomes slid 1.8% to AZN 8.627 million, interest expenditures declined by 12% to AZN 5.62 million, non-interest incomes decreased by 60.6% to AZN 917,000, non-interest expenditures descended by 8.4% to AZN 5.297 million, allocations for special reserves on compensation of possible losses on assets dropped by 96.3% to AZN 1.5 million. Consequently, the bank ended the first quarter of 2019 on AZN 127,000 in profit, down 62.8% from previous year.

AtaBank has been in operation since 1993. Authorized capital is AZN 120.02 million.
