Ukraine has extended an agreement with Hungary on gas imports from Hungarian territory until the end of March 2023, the GTS Operator of Ukraine, which manages the country's gas transmission system, has said in a statement.
Report informs citing TASS that the GTS Operator of Ukraine has agreed with the Hungarian operator FGSZ to extend access to guaranteed capacities for importing natural gas from Hungary to Ukraine until March 31, 2023. Consequently, gas traders will be able to book new quarterly capacities to deliver gas for Ukraine's needs.
An agreement on the import of gas from Hungary to Ukraine through a physical reverse was reached in December 2021, and supplies began in early February.
