SOCAR inks deal on co-op program with US company

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the US company Boston Consulting Group (BCG) have signed an agreement on the implementation of a cooperation program, Report informs referring to SOCAR.

The agreement was signed within the participation of SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf in the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-28), which is being held in Dubai.

“At the meeting between the president of SOCAR and the head of BCG, Rich Lesser, it was emphasized that the companies are successfully implementing joint projects in the field of climate change, assessing emissions and potential opportunities were considered for cooperation in the field of energy transition, decarbonization and digitalization,” reads the statement.
