Saudi Arabia warns of depleting global reserves

Saudi Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman said that the world's reserves for processing hydrocarbons and generating electricity have been depleted, Report informs via foreign media.

The minister made the remarks on the sidelines of the energy conference in Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital.

The world needs to pay attention to the existing reality, which is the exhaustion of reserve capacities for the production of energy resources at all levels, he said.

The minister also expressed concern about the current energy system, saying that the world must work collectively and responsibly.

He noted that the gap between oil prices and aviation, diesel and gasoline prices is around 60% in some cases due to the lack of refining capacity.
