Russian gas supplies through Ukraine and Nord Stream are expected to be at the level of the previous days on August 9, Report informs, citing data of gas transmission operators.

Gas Transmission System (GTS) Operator of Ukraine reported that the application for pumping through the gas measuring station Sudzha on Tuesday is 42.1 million cubic meters. The indicator has been holding at the level of 40-42 million cubic meters since the end of May. Deliveries through the GIS Sohranivka are not conducted.

According to Nord Stream AG, deliveries via Nord Stream are expected to reach 31 million cubic meters. Moreover, the pumping through it began to decline from mid-June, and once again, it happened on July 27 due to the failure of another Siemens turbine, which had completed a full overhaul cycle. Western sanctions prevent the situation at Nord Stream from being resolved, as a result, deliveries through it can now go in the amount of no more than 20% of its maximum capacity, which is almost 170 million cubic meters per day.

The European Union continues to pump gas into underground storage facilities (UGS). According to the Association of Gas Infrastructure Operators of Europe, European gas storage facilities were 72.01% full on August 7. In total, the EU UGS reserves amount to almost 72.72 billion cubic meters of gas.
