Peter Szijjarto: Hungary wants to invest in Azerbaijan’s green energy

Hungary wants to invest in the field of green energy in Azerbaijan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, told AZTV, Report informs.

He said Azerbaijan has great potential in green energy.

Szijjarto noted that Azerbaijan has a plan to use wind energy both on land and in the Caspian Sea.

The minister emphasized that this energy should be exported to European markets: There is a project named the Caspian-Black Sea-European Green Energy Corridor. According to that project, the line that will deliver green energy to Europe will be 2,000 km long, hundreds of kilometers of which will go under the sea. Therefore, this project, which will start in the Caspian Sea, will enter the Guinness Book of Records.”
