OPEC+ Monitoring Committee discusses lifting of sanctions against Iran

OEC+ Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) has discussed lifting of sanctions against Iran and supplying the market with Iranian oil, Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak told journalists, Report informs citing TASS.

"We are discussing all news related to the market, including this issue. However, we don’t know what decision will be made," he said.

In the interview to Russia-24 TV channel, Novak said that Iran’s reduction of oil output by 1.5 million barrels during a year affected negatively the economy: "We have good relations with Iran. Of course, we think Iran has the right to increase its oil production back to the pre-sanction era."
