MoU inked between SOCAR, Sumgait State University

Memoranda of understanding have been signed between enterprises of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Sumgait State University (SSU), Report informs referring to SOCAR.

Memorandums were signed between SSU and the Baku Higher Oil School, as well as SSU and SOCAR Downstream Management LLC. At the event held at the university with the participation of SOCAR and the leadership of SSU, the importance of signing memorandums of understanding within the framework of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” was especially emphasized and a valuable contribution to strengthening the competitiveness of human capital, as well as highly qualified human resources in the country, was noted.

At the event held at the Heydar Aliyev University Center, it was noted that 2023 was declared the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in Azerbaijan, in connection with which it was told about the various events held by SOCAR.

In particular, information was provided on the lectures planned during the year on the topic “Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan’s new oil strategy” with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and SOCAR, an agreement was reached to hold one of the next lectures at SSU.

During the meeting, the importance of various educational programs implemented by SOCAR was noted.
