Ministry of Energy signs contract with international company

The first meeting was held on the launch of a pilot project on constructing a floating solar power plant with a total capacity of 100 kW on Boyukshor Lake, Azerbaijani Energy Ministry told Report.

The meeting presented the Gamma Solutions project's work principles, which is the winner of the tender, the staff mobilized, the project implementation schedule, and discussed the work to be done.

Representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Tamiz Shahar OJSC, the Asian Development Bank, and the project consulting company attended the event.

For information, Gamma Solutions was selected due to a procurement tender for the engineering, procurement, construction, operation, and maintenance of a floating solar power plant for two years. Along with international companies, local companies also took part in the competition.
