MASDAR reaffirms commitment as Azerbaijan's strategic investor in renewable energy

MASDAR, a global leader in renewable energy, has reaffirmed its commitment to remain Azerbaijan's strategic investor in the renewable energy sector.

Speaking at the Baku Energy Forum, Abdulla Zayed, MASDAR's Director of Development and Investment for Asia and Africa regions, emphasized the company's dedication to supporting Azerbaijan's transition to green energy.

"Our company has extensive experience in the field of renewable energy. We are working in Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and other countries in the region," stated Zayed. He highlighted the significance of the joint 230 MW solar power plant project in Garadagh, a testament to MASDAR's unwavering support for Azerbaijan's sustainable energy initiatives.

Zayed further emphasized Azerbaijan's immense potential for renewable energy development, saying, "Yesterday, we signed another agreement. However, Azerbaijan possesses a far greater potential for growth in the renewable energy.
