Kadri Simson: “We want to increase gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Europe to 10bn cu. m.”

"We want to bring the natural gas supply from Azerbaijan to Europe to 10 billion cubic meters. To do this, we must achieve a secure supply."

Report informs that European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson said this at a press conference following the results of the 8th ministerial meeting within the framework of the SGC Advisory Council, held in Baku today.

She said that market expectations are currently being examined: “Based on the results of these studies, we can implement the expansion of the Southern Gas Corridor.”
