Georgia increases imports of diesel from Azerbaijan

From January through July 2021, Georgia imported 114,300 tons of diesel fuel from Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Union of Oil Product Importers of Georgia.
This volume is 300 tons higher than a year ago.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan met 18.1% of Georgia's demand for diesel fuel.
During the first seven months of 2021, Georgia purchased 631,400 tons of gasoline and diesel fuel, 23,100 tons or 3.8% more than in the previous year.
The leading suppliers of Georgia were Turkmenistan (143,200 tons), Romania (131,000 tons), and Russia (123,400 tons).
