The prices of the January gas futures in Europe in the first hours of Tuesday's trading grew by 7.5%, are approaching the level of $1,130 per thousand cubic meters, Report informs with reference to the ICE exchange.

The price of futures on the Dutch TTF index at the opening of the trading session slightly exceeded $1,100. In general, after a decrease from early December, prices for the second day show a positive trend; for two hours, the price fluctuated in the range of $1,105-$1,120. The maximum was $1,129.4, which is 7.5% higher than the estimated price the day before ($1,050.70.

Average spot gas prices in Europe on Spot TTF in November approached $950, which is 13.5% less than the record monthly average October value of $1,100 since 2015.
