Bulgaria sees the increase in the volume of natural gas from Azerbaijan as the most promising option, Report informs, citing the Bulgarian media.
Prime Minister Kirill Petkov said that Bulgaria will be able to get gas from Azerbaijan in full from July 1, 2022.
"We can also buy gas from Serbia. But, the most promising option is to increase the volume of gas from Azerbaijan based on an agreement," Bulgarian socio-political figure, former Minister of Economy and Energy Traicho Traikov said.
"I don't think there is a gas crisis because there is gas. The problem with prices has existed for almost a year," he added.
Traikov noted that the remaining amount of gas needed in the country should be compensated by other means.
