Azerbaijani gas constitutes 97% of Georgia’s total gas import in April

Georgia imported 177 million cubic meters of gas in April, Report’s Georgian bureau informs.

Azerbaijani gas made up 97% of total gas import in April.

In the reporting period, Georgia imported 6 million cubic meters of gas from Russia, 3% of total gas consumption. This is the first gas import from Russia since December 2017. According to the country’s gas balance, Georgia is not planned to import gas from Russia in 2019.
